KC Parks’ Annual Trunk-or-Treat
October 26, 6-7:30pm

This is the perfect opportunity for your family to show off their creativity and Halloween spirit. Gather up your decorating supplies and create a trunk display that will knock everyone’s socks off! Set up a few bowls of candy for your fellow trick-or-treaters and then take your own little monsters around the lot to fill those goodie bags. Trunk-or-Treat takes place at the Southeast Community Center parking lot.

Science City’s “Spookfest: Night at the Museum”
October 27, 5-8pm

Science takes a spooky twist at this incredible annual event for the whole family. Visit Science City to find fabulously frightening demonstrations and hands-on activities. Get up close and personal with creepy, crawly creatures and magnificent monsters. Catch the Science Stage Show to see extraordinary experiments and don’t leave without tasting a few of the delicious Halloween treats. Make sure the kiddos dress in their best costumes–they might win an awesome prize in the costume contest.

Faulkner Ranch’s 8th Annual Halloween Egg Hunt
October 28, 4-6pm

No, it’s not a typo–it really does say Halloween Egg Hunt. Who says egg hunts are only for Easter? The crisp, cool fall weather and blankets of colorful leaves make the perfect setting for a fun-filled egg hunt! Kids will set out to uncover over 8,000 hidden eggs filled with delicious Halloween treats. While you’re at the pumpkin ranch, be sure to check out their other fantastic fall activities like hay rides, field mazes, and the petting zoo.

Kansas City Turkey Trot
November 22, 9am

Grab your running shoes and get a great workout before stuffing yourself with Thanksgiving dinner! This annual tradition joined with runs around the country to create a massive celebration known as the “American Turkey Tradition”. You’ll be able to see stats on the national leaderboard and participate with more than 60,000 other runners across the U.S. in this exciting event. Runners of all ages are welcome and prizes are awarded in each age category.
