Maybe you think you spend a lot of time behind the wheel.
You probably can’t compare to Kansas delivery driver Farrah Haines, who
recently notched a cool
1 million miles on the original drivetrain of her 2013 Hyundai Elantra.
“Reaching one million miles with the original
powertrain in just five years is an extremely rare and incredible
achievement,” explained Hyundai Motor America’s CMO, Dean Evans.
Not many drivers put the kind of stress on their vehicles
that Haines, who delivers auto parts around the Midwest, does. In fact,
Consumer Reports has a popular article on how to maintain your car so it
reliably to 200,000 miles — just one-fifth of the distance that
Haines coaxed out of her trusty Elantra.
“My Hyundai has been a great car to me,” Haines said. “Over the years I have been beyond pleased at my car’s performance, a quality that is inherent to the Hyundai brand.”
“Everything in life is somewhere else, and you get there in a car.” -E. B. White

Although the 2018 Detroit Auto Show is over, people are still talking about Hyundai unveiling their all-new 2019 Veloster, which is scheduled to arrive at our Hyundai dealership later this spring. (That’s just weeks away!)
The Veloster, which first showed up on American roads in the fall of 2011, was always a unique phenomenon — a sharp-looking sports car with a funky-cool, asymmetrical look thanks to one extra-large door on the driver’s side. It was this feature that ensured that the Veloster would never be confused with anything else on the road.
As the years have passed, the Veloster has evolved, but the most radical changes to the little devil seem to come in 2019, nearly 8 years later. Here’s what the upcoming new Veloster is planning on bringing to the market.
Some of the most powerful commercials in the world are those that tap into the basic human experience and reach down into our souls. In America, car advertisers are among the global leaders in the advertising industry, with some automakers spending over $5 million on a car commercial during “The Big Game.” So, it’s no wonder there are some incredibly entertaining commercials available out there.
Whether they tickle your funny bone, pull your heartstrings, or make you think about life, these Hyundai commercials are some of our favorite. Watch. Enjoy.
The Hyundai Elantra has frequently earned a top spot among its rivals in the compact sector, and the 2018 Elantra continues to impress. As Edmunds reviewer Will Kaufman puts it, the 2018 Elantra offers plenty of “upscale features at an agreeable price.” Let’s take a closer look at why the critics have become smitten with Hyundai’s newest sedan.
Unfortunately for all of us, motor vehicle collisions are a very tragic reality of the world we live in. Almost 1.3 million people across the globe die in vehicle collisions each year, and an additional 50 million are injured or disabled. Unless things change, it is estimated that traffic collision injuries will become the 5th leading cause of death by 2030.
November 19th, or World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims, commemorates those lost as well as their surviving families, friends and communities. It also provides an opportunity to contemplate how we might put an end to this epidemic. Traveling in inclement weather, particularly snow or ice-covered roads, requires preventative measures and safeguards. Here are 10 steps to take that will protect you on those slick roadways this winter.
